Bad Day
You know how some days you just KNOW it is going to be a bad day! Well this morning has all the hallmarks of one of those!
Let’s not go into the fact that I was feeling sick all of yesterday so I am pretty sure I will need to re-do most of the work i tried to do in my hazed state yesterday OR the fact that it was still pitch black when I arrived at work this morning! These are old news.
Lets begin with the fact that I have NO petrol in my car, and realised late last night that I had left my wallet at my friends house! Yup.. how will I get petrol to get the wallet without the wallet! (PS. Rog was there to step in and save the day on this one!)
Next.. I get to work and my laptop will not dock, this is following on from my 3G card not working this weekend… Summary, my laptop is pretty but also pretty ineffective! Humph!
Lastly, I left my Cellphone at home! Yup.. just to make a bad day worse I have no mobile. (At least I bloody hope it is at home or this day is going to get a whole lot worse!).
As a result of all this bad-day juju, I feel absolutely NO guilt about taking the last of the office milk to make my morning porridge… I mean c’mon, would you begrudge me chocolate porridgee today… REALLY?!!
